QDN - Labour Day March.

QDN's Labour Day March and BBQ.

QDN members will be participating in the Labour Day March on Monday the 4th of May 2009. You are invited to the QDN office for a BBQ lunch after the march. The BBQ will be starting around midday.

If you will be marching or joining us for the BBQ it would be great if you could let us know by Friday the 1st of May.

In the March, QDN will be focussing on the fact that many people with disability want to work but are not able to because of some employers having misguided concepts of people with disability. Details are as follows:

When: Monday 4th May

Assemble: 9.45am at the Sportsmans Hotel on Leichhardt Street

Marching is way to make a political statement on people with disability participating in social, political and economic activities. Please RSVP by calling our office on 3252 8566 or 1300 363 783, or email qdn@qdn.org.au. Transport and support will be available.

This is an opportunity to catch-up with friends (like QDN's previous coordinator, Greg Wagner, who'll be cooking the BBQ) and meet the present QDN Network Coordinator. Fran Vicary, who started in January. You can find out what your network is doing for you!
