QDN News.About our news and newslettersIf you would like to tell us about your ideas, send an article, or just know more about our newsletters, this information will be useful to you. When are they published?QDN's "Information Bulletins" are produced on an ‘ad hoc’ basis to keep network participants up-to-date on the progress of the network, and our news and issues. As part of our priority framework, a quarterly newsletter is planned. What will be included?A Newsletter Working Group has been formed to set theme, agenda and content for each edition of the newsletter. At times this group is going to ask for assistance from people in the network in the form of contributions, information and feedback. It is envisaged that the newsletters will provide information about the progress and activities of QDN. They will also be an opportunity for people with disability to connect with others in the network, by providing a forum for the discussion of developments and issues that are affecting people with disability in Queensland. How and where are they available?QDN's information bulletins and newsletters are available in print. It is our policy to produce all information in an arial font (12 point) with minimal formatting / artwork. Your preferred print alternative is available on request. Copies are available on audiotape, floppy disk (various versions of MS Word) and will be posted to our web site www.qdn.org.au. Please ask if you have other requirements. QDN currently has over 700 people registered with the network from all over the state and nationally. Newsletters will be mailed directly to these people. At times allied groups or organizations may forward copies of our material to people on their databases. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO PASS OUR MATERIAL ON TO OTHERS WHO
SHARE OUR VALUES AND A POSITIVE VISION FOR ALL PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY.
Contributions:Network participants are welcome (indeed encouraged) to submit ideas and articles for and comment about QDN's Newsletters.
